How A Birth Doula Can Support you
A birth doula can be your emotional and physical support when you need it the most. As a doula, I offer experience-based information so you can make informed decisions.
Remember, it is your body, your baby and your birth. With my hands-on integrative approach and holistic therapies we will get through this marathon together, My focus is on you with the help of herbal medicine, holistic nutrition, movement, and breath work. I am that bridge between the hospital and you. I provide you the reassurance needed that everything is ok and what any expecting birthing person needs.
I do not empower you. I recognize that you are powerful!

BIRTH PACKAGES
Prenatal Education
Pick from 1 or 3 outlined and organized classes providing education and information leading up to your birth. You will be provided with a package of reference materials to keep. Zoom or in-person for these classes but I recommend our comfort class in person as it is hands-on and interactive. Each class runs anywhere between 1.5 hours to 2 hours long.
TYPES OF SUPPORT OFFERED
My role as your Doula is to hold space and empower you before, during and after birth. My purpose is to be the one in the room who is always solely focused on the birthing person. I will be there to provide support and comfort physically and emotionally. I will assist in communication with caregivers so that informed decisions are made. I can provide suggestions, reassurance and perspective for you and or your partner. I use multiple techniques for breathing, movement, positions, hands-on help and anything else discussed to create a positive birthing experience.
Remember that the information I provide does not in any way replace the care and advice of a Registered Midwife, Medical Doctor or OBGYN.
I will be on call for you 24 hours a day starting from 37 weeks gestation until labor begins. When you think you are going into labor please text me during the day and call me once you need me. If it is during the night please don’t text me, please call me. I don’t want to miss the magic.
**Postpartum packages are available based on families’ needs.**
